Why do you need a plan of subdivision?
Subdivision will require approval from your local Council. Once you have obtained this approval, a Registered Surveyor will need to be engaged to prepare a plan of subdivision for registration with Land Registry Services. This is required to legally split your property, for instance, if you were looking at having a dual occupancy subdivision.
